As I get older, these spring forwards are killing me! I have to get up at 5:30 am so this morning I wanted to cry when the alarm went off. Also, I was enjoying having the sun up when I arrived at work at 6:30 am so was sad it was dark today.

And it's flurrying right now and I'M SICK OF SNOW!!!!!

Okay, whine over.

Yes! I went to bed last night at 9:30 because I couldn't even keep my eyes open anymore.

To my body, it was only 8:30!! :headache:

Well I am exhausted from no sleep with the flu. AND my dd who was out of school ALL LAST WEEK because of the flu is sitting upstairs right now because OF THE SNOW!!!

I can't get her to school.:headache::sad2: I tried at 7am and then sat in the road for 20mins with it not moving.

So I turned around and went home, hoping to try later. I just called the school and they said to call back in an HOUR to see if the road is open.

Oh brother....

ETA...DH is back, he turned around. He said now traffic lights are out and kids are sitting on buses on the roads not moving. Poor kids.

I hear ya!

I'm not a happy camper right now, either. The spring time change always feels like we're stepping backwards into more winter. :sad2:

add me to the groggy list. My day starts at 5 a.m., today felt like 3. My dog is all off kilter too. I am a nightowl by nature so my early routine is brutal as it is let alone losing an hour.

I'm exhausted today, and not feeling very well either. I'm at work, but fortunately I can work at my own pace since it doesn't seem to be overly crazy for a Monday (accounting work). :surfweb:

I did like how late the sun stayed out last night though. :sunny: :thumbsup2

Oddly enough, when we go to Disney or on our recent cruise, I never even noticed the hour time difference. :confused3

But when at home, it kills me!

Exhausted as well, but I think a large portion of it is "disaster overload", from reading & seeing all the information from Japan.

oh my gosh! me! Plus, DH started new work hours this week and had to be up at 4:15am. that didn't help. It's only for 3 weeks, but I'm not looking forward to it, and neither is he :rotfl:

Me too! Mostly because I had to work a 10 hour shift (ugh!) but the time change is killing me too! :sad2:

Our school district is starting the standardized state testing today.

Not sure how the kids are supposed to be well rested for the testing when they scheduled it for the Monday after the start of Daylight Saving Time.

Another brilliant idea from my school board.

Me too! Luckily though I am off work as dd is on Spring Break this week. I kept waking up during the night and the slept late.

I hate the first couple of days of the time changing! But will enjoy the later daylight hours.

I am groggy too, but not because of Daylight Savings....because of the weekend.

On Saturday we had my daughter's dance class, then rushed to a birthday party for one of my daughter's friends. Then we decided to go to Sam's to look at something, and then came home and put together two workbenches in our garage, as well as organized our garage (tools, yard stuff, etc). THen we went back out to eat, and ran to Best Buy. After that we came back home and I cuddled with DD in bed and was out before she was.

Then yesterday, (Sunday), I woke up early gathered my stuff and drove to Atlanta (2.5 hours away) to attend a wedding shower for my husband's cousin's finacee. I arrived at my in-laws at 11:30, then we went to the shower (went early with my MIL as she was one of the hostesses), and then left my in-laws at 6 to drive back home. Arriived home at 8:30. Totally beat. However, I have bags upon bags of sincky snacks in my fridge.

OMG I'm so exhausted. Took a nap yesterday figuring I would be exhausted due to the time change-- stupid hour difference. Managed to oversleep today. :headache:

Count me in. I'm tired too. Maybe I'll get a second cup of coffee.

Me too! Between the time change, the last three weekends of organizing/running Girl scout cookie booth sales at 4 different locations on Saturdays & 2 different locations on Sundays, a karate event 2 hours away last weekend, decorating a huge room Friday for DD's birthday party Saturday, Saturday's cookie booth, hair appointment, photo session, birthday party, removing all decorations/lights from rental hall & clean up, BFF came home with DD after party for sleep over....stayed up until almost 1:00 AM with the time change making cupcakes for dad's birthday dinner on Sunday......Sunday cookie booth, drop BFF off, dad's birthday dinner (he turned 81 yesterday) with family............came into contact with something yesterday evening that caused an allergic reaction and took some allergy meds....by the time DH skyped us from his deployment zone (10:30 PM for us)......I could barely hold my eyes open. I'm tired and feel like I've been ran over by a truck. I think we shall skip swimming at the YMCA today (our normal Monday evening routine) and go to bed early.

YUP - everyone here is complaining about the early day. We were having light to start our school day, so it's hard to go back to "dead of winter" early morning darkness.

No snow - but it's supposed to rain all week.
