The only mention of occupancy was that there will be studios unique to the Riviera that will be designed for occupancy of 2-so it looks like at least some of the studios are going to be tiny studios marketed to couples.Did it mention anything about occupancy for the rooms? Always looking for a more economical option for our family of 6.

It did say there would be studios, 1 and 2 bedrooms, plus grand villas there.

They called them tower studios. They said they would be luxurious and space efficient accommodations for 2 so it sounded like it was pretty certain as opposed to just considering ideas for future development. It was included in questions asking about which of Riviera’s attributes would make me most likely to purchase (vs say the gondola transportation or the rooftop restaurant with views the nighttime spectaculars at Epcot and DHS). This survey was very similar to one I got regarding marketing materials for CCV before it opened.
I wondered that-clearly it means no sleeper sofa but I wondered if there was just a chair or two vs an actual sofaIf the tower studio only sleeps two, does that mean there is no couch??? No thank you! I'll just get a hotel room then.
Surely there's at least something comfy to sit in. Of course, it could have a pullout couch and no actual bed. Technically, that sleeps two. But surely no one is that oblivious to what DVC owners like.I wondered that-clearly it means no sleeper sofa but I wondered if there was just a chair or two vs an actual sofa
If they are going to take out the actual mugs and glasses from studios, they either are clueless or just do not care. We had a real fight on our hands to get the ceramic mugs and glasses back. No way did I want styrofoam cups.Surely there's at least something comfy to sit in. Of course, it could have a pullout couch and no actual bed. Technically, that sleeps two. Just got the marketing survey this morning. Interesting to do it if you get the invite. It reveals some abstract ideas for the resort and the villas they will have there. Plus you get a $5 amazon gift code too.
You are so right! I guess anything is possible. If they are going to take out the actual mugs and glasses from studios, they either are clueless or just do not care. We had a real fight on our hands to get the ceramic mugs and glasses back. No way did I want styrofoam cups.![]()
I sure wish I could get invited. I love doing surveys, and I love Amazon gift cards!I got it too, and it was very enjoyable. They showed a "proposed" advertisement and asked about different features that were important/not important-unique dining, pool features, family areas, etc. Now I'm waiting for my $5 gift code. Fun and good pay for no more than 15 minutes of "work".
There were 3 versions of the resort description for advertisements. One gave the concept of an old world Europe with luxurious furnishings and paintings adorning the place. The second capitalized on the Riveria aspect. The third promoted a family leisure feel like the laid back ways in Europe (talked about laying around the pool, leisurely eating, etc). There were no specific restaurant names that I can recall. They did mention having Belle-inis at the rooftop restaurant, which was also described as alfresco in one of the resort descriptions and that it would have views of Epcot and DHS. They also mentioned there would be a wine bar, leisure pools, some type of lounge with books Walt Disney collected in his European travels, manicured gardens, European influenced restaurants (mentioned getting cappuccino and gelato at the cafe specifically), and seasonal activities/entertainment inspired by European festivals. Oh and of course the talked about the gondolas too.Does anyone recall more of the questions that were asked?! My aunt who is also DVC told me about it. I did not receive the survey but she felt they sent is to her because she was just on property. She mentioned something about different restaurant names, or different ways of describing how luxurious this property would be. I'd love to hear more about the different questions they asked if anyone would care to share!
