Here, it's coordinated by the United Way, and offered to low income adults, with emphasis on the Earned Income Credit. I've been doing it for 3 years now, and it's gearing up again. This year I might actually get paid doing it! The site where I've done it in the past was also where I worked (different hours)as a teacher. Since I'm not there this year, I called the United Way coordinator to see if there was a greater need elsewhere. It turns out the program has really grown, so she's interested in an assistant. So is anyone else involved in the free tax assistance program?
