I'm so angry right now.
I found (what appeared to be) an adorable Mickey Mouse tote bag on ebay. The seller said she bought it at a local boutique as a gift, but ended up not giving it away & decided to sell it on ebay.
Based on the picture, I had to have it. It looked so nice & sturdy & filled with pictures of my favorite mouse! So, I bid the $19.99 and eventually won. With shipping (major ripoff), it came to about $27.00.
The package was promptly shipped and I ripped it open with excitement. I could not believe what I saw......it was dirty, faded, clearly used. The fabric is thin and flimsy. I immediately threw it in the washing machine to try to clean it up a bit.
The seller had somewhat decent feedback, which is why I bid on it, and after the auction ended she left me glowing feedback.
I've thought about pursuing a reimbursement, but I just don't have the time or patience for that. So, I'm going to keep it and give it to my neice to use as a beach bag. It's the perfect bag for a 4 year old kid who will fill it with sand, seashells, and little toys.
I was wondering if any of you had disappointing ebay experiences also, whether you're the buyer or seller.
