Is anyone else worried about crowd levels the week of the Nov. 13th to 21st....we went the same week last year and it was wonderfully empty...I was able to make ADRs only a couple weeks ahead of time...this year nothing is available now...I have made my ADRs already....I was just looking at what was available...I know its free dining but so was last year...

What does anyone think it will be like this year???

Just making conversation...not stressing

We are going the same week. I've never been in November before, I made our ADR's quite awhile ago so I haven't checked lately, but the crowd calendars on Touring Plans are still predicting low crowds. I'm hoping since F&W will be over and it's right before Thanksgiving that they stay that way. Any idea on what the resort bookings are looking like?

We're going that same week, based on the recommendation of a friend who was there the same week last year. Last year we were there December 5-12, and it was much more crowded than we had expected (typically go either the 1st or 2nd week of December). I am really hoping that the low crowd prediction for this year's week holds true!

We're also going the same week. The past two years when we went this week, the parks were wonderfully empty. With that being said, we've always gotten shut out of dining reservations (but of course I know to keep trying and we've gotten everything we've wanted :cool1:)

We're staying at CSR and out of curiousity, I looked at availability for that week and they no longer have any. I'm wondering if there is a big convention there that week.

:yay:We will be there the same week as well, we normally always go after Jersey week, one time we did go during Jersey week and it was still very good and the weather and the crowds are wonderful. We also go in July and I know its very crowded in July, but I know November won't be as crowded.

BUT one thing for sure, WE WILL HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!!!

We went the Nov 17-24 last year, the first 5 days were perfect..no crowds, no lines, empty Poly resort. The last 2 days were horrid and we could not wait to leave.

This year we are going Nov 12-21 and am hoping for the low crowds like last year. I had to change my ressie from Oct to Nov and didnt do this until the first week of Sept. I was shocked to find out that I got the same room at the same rate, the exact same ressies for the same time/day and even scored dinner at Cali Grill. At such a late date I didnt think this was going to go as smoothly as it did.

MickeyNicki are doing a food/trip report? I love everyone of your reports. I pick my ADR's for this trip based on your past reviews :flower3: thank you! You should work for Disney:goodvibes

You are so cute! Thanks so much for reading them, I love writing them as much as you enjoy reading them :goodvibes

Yes I will do a LIVE dining review, I wasnt going to bring the laptop but DH says we have to do a live review or my Dis friends would never forgive me :rotfl2:

I will probably start it 2 days before we leave, dont want to jinx it or anything, if you know what I mean :cool1:

We will be there the same week as you, have a great time and Happy Anniversary to you and Hubby.

This is "our" week as well, we are going to be in WDW Nov. 11 to 22. Third year in a row now and I was actually thinking the same thing. I tried to book just a couple of ADR's and had some problems getting times/places we wanted. Of course, it was last week, not at 180 days or even 90 days. Obviously ADR's are not important to us!

My thought process is that maybe the parks won't be much busier than past years, but with the FD offer, the restaurants will be packed with people who normally wouldn't eat that many TS meals...????

Not stressing here either, just hoping for low crowds again.pixiedust:

I have the feeling that part of it might be because you can now make ADRs online. I know that I have a couple that I'm not 100% sure I want to keep yet, but I know I wouldn't have made them if I had to call. I'm sure free dining is a big part too. I'm hoping that reservations will open up closer to that week.

We're going from the 12th to the 21st.
It doesn't bother me either way if it's crowded or not.
We'll be at Disney and make the best of whatever comes out way.
I sure hope the weather is nice.

I agree 100%. I think the online ADR capability has allowed people to make reservations if they even think they might come to Disney. I live in Orlando and have been worried too when I couldn't get reservations and showed up to a fairly empty park (like I did on Sept. 25th).

We will be there Nov. 12-20th. I'm hoping for low crowds. We went the week after Thanksgiving last year, and the crowds were low, but I want even lower this time.

I keep trying for a LeCellier dinner, and can't get it. But everytime I try there are plenty of other restaurants available in Epcot. Typically it's just Le Cellier and Garden Grill that is full. So I think that's a good sign. Who knows though.

My DH and I go to WDW in mid-November every year. Last year we went Saturday to Saturday, with our last day being the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We noticed that the crowds were much bigger on our last day so this year we're going 11/12 - 11/19.

I made our ADRs 180 days in advance, but I'll agree with others who have stated that Free Dining is making TS dining more difficult to get during this time.

We're going that week too.. I'm hoping for lower crowds. We went the week of Thanksgiving last year and it was just too crowded for us. The other parks not so much, but MK was terrible. We had a great time, but I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for lower crowds. We got all our ADR's, but I had to keep calling for the Wishes Dessert pkg before finally getting one.

Hope to see Y'all there..

Im going the same time. Ive never been so I dont know what really to expect crowd wise.

what it is, it is.........nothing you can do about it or plan for............I don't believe in crowd counters and best days/worse days.......We also don't particpate in the dining plans..........we eat when we're hungry and always find something to suit our tastes. Never cared for most of the TS meals in Disney. We'll be there, nov 29 thru Dec 7 and whatever the level is, we'll enjoy ourselves. don't worry about the unforseen and go in positive.
