Anyone else can't get into National website?

Hi,
I've been trying to get into National's website for 2 days now! I keep getting page not found message! I tried to get in under my favorites, then tried doing a web search for it, and still got the same message. Just wondering if I'm the only one.

I cleared my cookies and internet history. I still can't get in. Any other suggestions? DH moved my the phone line, and ever since then, I can't get in.

Your phone line has nothing to do with this as you can get on here. Are you using AOL? If not, check your security settings.

I had the same problem since Saturday night. I was finally able to get into their system tonight. Just keep trying. I don't think it's anything with your computer. I think they're having problems with their web site.

Ugh! Still can't get in! This is torture. I check the site every day to see if my rate has dropped. I checked my settings and everything seems fine there. I'll keep trying. Dh promised to check the website when he's at work tomorrow. As soon as I mentioned that the rates may be dropping lower, he was more than willing to help!

Well, I realized that your dates are under your sig. I checked them and found a full size car, emerald reserve, priceless code, entertainment coupon (which can be found on the net) all taxes, fees, etc "out the door" $131.12.

I had a thought, did you try a link from a different site to backdoor into National? http://www.pcpages.com/rentalcodes/national.html
click on the code and see what happens.

My dates are 4/30-5/7. I'm checking in real early (6:30am) and returning late (5pm), so I think that counts as an extra day. I am looking at full size, using priceless contract id (6600330) and entertainment coupon (10009123).

Yes, we have had trouble too. I notice you are also in CA. My dh (computer geek) said it was a problem with the DNS server relating to our ISP not National. Do you by chance have Adelphia cable for your ISP? Somehow my husband was able to get me there using National's IP address. Sorry I really don't know what he did to make it work exactly. Just wanted you to know that it most likely is not your machine.

I've been trying all weekend and could not get on National's website. I keep getting the 'Cannot find server' message. I am also in California, and yes... I have Adelphia. I'm going to try at work and see if I can get on from a non-Adelphia account.

I still couldn't get through, but DH is going to change our ressies to the cheaper rate today! Glad to hear that I'm not the only one having problems. I'm going to call our local cable company to check into getting our internet service from them. This slow dial up internet service is too darn slow, and I have too many problems with it.

Ah, ha, that is the problem. National often takes longer to load and your explorer is timing out. Cable or DSL will probably eliminate that problem.

My internet has been especially slow since Saturday, and that's when I started having problems with National's website. I keep telling DH I want cable internet (DHL is not in our area). I'll have to call today and get that hooked up.

High 5 received. Check your connect speed. Also, go to control panel, modems, click on that and then click on properties and see what the modem is set for. Make sure it is set on the highest number. Sometimes these things get a little flakey and tend to reset themselves to a much lower speed.
