The rumored date that winners would be notified is Nov. 2nd. I'm not giving up hope until then!!!!

Someone from the Dis has to at least make the 1st cut, don't you think?!

I also applied but I'm a Canadian, I couldn't find anything on there that said it was just for Americans. Crossing my fingers that it is open to non US residents. It accepted my application so I hope so. After I submitted it though, I thought of so many other things I should have written AHHH! This would be so awesome. I hope a Dis'er gets on, goodness knows there are many Disney experts on here.

Subscribing-I also heard rumored that we would hear around the 2nd of November. I would love to be on the panel but would be just as excited to hear someone on the Dis one. Everyone is so good about posting threads that I would be able to experience it through them. Good luck!

We realize it's no easy task just keeping a family moving every day, so we appreciate all the effort you put into your application. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the response we saw and very humbled by the heartwarming stories we read in each of the applications.

With 10,000 moms (and dads!) applying, we had a difficult time narrowing the field to the next round. We personally read every application submitted. While you were not among those selected, we are very grateful that you took the time to enter and share your love for Walt Disney World Resort®.

Because of the incredible passion you and so many others have shown for Walt Disney World Resort®, we've been inspired to explore more concepts for programs -- beyond the Moms Panel -- to engage moms and dads like you who want to share their passion for the Parks. We plan to follow up with you in the near future with more details.

Meanwhile, the Walt Disney World Moms Panel site, www.disneyworldmoms.com, officially launches in January. We hope you'll find the site a useful tool for you and other parents, too.

Go to Yahoo Groups to see their list. I wish I still had it, and I would have posted it for you.

Sounds a little like the rejection letter, only it's an acceptance letter. Apparently, there is a link in the e-mail to go to a Disney website and answer three more questions in order to move on.

The deadline was the 24th. So, I guess we can look for our e-mails soon....
