I did apply also...the second day they were doing it. But you know what??? I'm sure to get picked this time. Why? Because I'm already going to WDW for that time frame . So of course, I would win a trip for the time I have already booked, and paid for!!!!
It will be interesting to see if a DISer is among those chosen...sure hope so.

You could have applied, they were not using the term "mom" in the literal sense. They were refering to anyone who likes the role of "planning" Disney trips.

It's amazing how many people will ask me "Are you going to Disneyland again?". I just politely respond that it's not Disneyland it's Disney World! When inside my head I am saying "You stupid idiot. How many times do I have to tell you it's Walt Disney World?!?! And yes you blankety blank, I am going back!"

Oh wait, I take that back. That didn't sound too Disney Mom like.

Now THAT would have been an interesting application submission!!!

We had just got back from our trip...and I drove my DH crazy by answering strangers questions...in line..at parks...restaurants...etc...lol...he said I needed a job telling people how to take their Disney trips!!! He is rooting for me!

I think we must be married to the same man! I always have the same "problem" at THE WORLD! I'm like the resident expert or something while I'm there!

i remember when i saw some crazed woman at the animal kingdom screaming she couldn't find a restroom for her kid and i had to calm her down and politely explain that disney world isn't what she's used to. how disney imagineering goes through amazing lengths to theme and disguise things to suit the environment. she looked at me like i was crazy, but then i pointed her to the restroom which in this case was disguised as a couple of bushes. she seemed hesitant at first but i told her the bushes hide everything due to four perspectives.

I love telling people stuff they don't know! I love their faces! ...or even better, I love when I get this, "Who are you? How do you know all this stuff?"

I applied....not a good writer when it comes to creativity. So they probably wont select me. But you can't win if you don't play. So I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hey, now that I am in DVC..I can take friends I know we just met....lol!!

DD and I head back in the end of Feb...you DID submit your application in time didnt you??!!! I hope they select all ages..with kids different ages..mine ar DS14, DD10 and DD 15 mths old...and I am 40...yes I even through in the "I got married at Disney"...lol!!!

Here's what my email said:

It doesn't say how Disney will contact you if you make it to the next round...just that they will. I can't remember if the site previously mentioned when that would be either.

I also applied and will already be there the 8-16th! I'm sure chances are slim but if I even got a second reply I would be thrilled. It was only 5000 applications when I applied so maybe when they decided to accept 10,000 they will double the winners!!Good luck to all!!!!

I applied as well. Although, I am not a mother but am quite the Disney Lover! Been going every year at least once a year since I was born. I call it my home away from home! I hope I dont really have to be a mother to be on it! I have planned many successful trips for family and friends so maybe, just maybe they will take someone like me!
