Anyone else a DIS board addict?

I do not post a lot but get on the boards everyday at home. I mean everyday! It's like I'm scared I'll miss something, plus if I can't be at WDW reading about it takes me away for a while. I typically start in this order:

Universal Resorts Board - were Lowes Platinum members and really love their resorts

The 3 of the DVC boards - were also DVC members so I have to stay up on the latest rumors, especially with VAKL.

The Disney theme park board - need to know whats going on at WDW, who cares about the real world!

Disney Resorts - still stay at Dolphin (honeymoon was there) once a year plus I like to hear about anything new at the other resorts

I finish with the Disney Restaurants boards - eating is one the few things I still do well at my age.

Any one else have the same DIS addiction?

Oh please...I just signed up yesterday and I'm already addicted. I can't sleep cause I am so excited that I have found others that obsess over Disney. Who needs sleep when you got Disney?!

Most of us on here are Disboard addicts. Everyone here is my unseen family. I dont know thier faces, but I can recognize there avatar, signature or comment style. Kinda wierd, but we all have one thing in common. DISNEY.

I go to WDW every year...one year with just DH and me, next with DD and DGDs. The information I gather from the DIS is how every trip is new and exciting! I love perusing many of the forums! And I've been to three planned DIS meets in WDW, but the best were the chance meetings via lime green ribbons! I'm not sure if I come on the boards everyday because I like going to WDW, or if I go to WDW because I love coming on the boards (and need an outlet for all information I glean!)

I work nights at a call center and if there are no calls coming in, I got nothin' but free time. I spend most of my nights Dising. I usually check the Theme Parks board first and then wander to whatever suits my fancy. Usually the TR board, but I've visited all of them.

An addict, where that would be someone who's home page is the dis, first thing they do in the morning is see what was posted while they were dreaming of the dis, when they get to work and have a few minutes, they hop onto the dis, at break they see what is new, at lunch they catch up with what was posted in between, as soon as they get home they check to see what has gone on since lunch, have it on all evening and only exit out when it is time for bed , right?!?! , well I have a friend that is like that , but noone that lives here
And yes, I have a certain order in which I follow the threads , I mean my friend has a certain order in which she reads the dis

It's not an addiction it's a passion there is a huge difference.

I DIS as soon as I get up and then through out the day. Most times it's the last thing I'm doing before I go to bed as well.

It helps me stay in the Disney state of Mind and there is no better place then that.

Yes, most of us around here are. Don't fight it. Just give in to it. Once you've found it, there's just something that feels right about being able to safely share your obsession with this unknown family, as FigmentGuy put it. I think he got it exactly right. You don't know them personally, but you feel it's just a good wholesome bunch of people to be around. You rejoice with them when they are up, and you pray for them when they are down. You happily wait with them for their next trips, and you enjoy the stories and pictures they post when they get back. They give good advice for how to make your trip better, and they give opinions, which you can take or leave, about what they think about rides, resorts, and restaurants. Sometimes they fight, but usually it comes out okay. I think you've added a nice new dimension to your life in finding these boards.

My DH wants to send me to counseling, he just doesn't get it. Hello McFly,what part of I love Disney don't you understand.He is a great DH just doesn't love the World as much as I do. And being on the Dis boards with other people who feel the same way is alot of fun. If you can't be at the World the Dis boards is the next best place to be
