I remember reading that Grill's is a good restaurant to sit outside, eat, and watch the cruise ships. Can anyone give me a review? What's good to eat and drink?
We've eaten at grills a number of times and enjoyed it! The fish is always nice and fresh but for non fish eaters like myself they have great steaks and burgers as well. We've also eaten breakfest there the morning of our cruise last May with a couple of other DIS families.
My family has eaten at Grills twice now during a mini-DISmeet. I selected the grilled tuna sandwich both times, very tender and tasty. We didn't have any complaints from the 50+ people that gathered at Grills last August for our meet.
This is one of my FAV places to eat when we are in Coco, about 2-3 times a year (soon to be in-laws live there) I LOVE their grilled swordfish and tuna. My soon to be FiL is a HUGE fan of their burgers. Get there early to sit outside to watch the ships go by. Outside seating is seat yourself, fist come etc. and they are popular. IF you are there for a few days, another great place is Sunset, I believe it is on 520. GREAT Conch appatizer, seafood, etc. My DH2B had the Cuban sandwhich last time ans said it was the best he had ever had.
We ate there last December the night before our cruise and loved it. We can't wait to go back. Really good food, the atmosphere kept my kids busy (which meant DH and I could actually relax and eat) and we had the best service. She was great with my son who seemed to take a liking to her and felt the need to tell her over and over that he was going on the "Mickey boat" the next day. She promised to wave to him when we left port the next day if he would wave back. DS was so excited to wave to her when we left port.
