OK - I am not expecting too much. We are getting up at 4:30 AM , arrive at MCO around 10:30 and the kids ( and DH ) will be STARVING and anxious to hit the parks.

We are doing a luggage drop off at villa ( mgmt group lets us do this free of charge ! ) and heading to MK.

I just do not think my group will be able to sit through an hour + lunch. I was trying to think of something different than typical fast food. They like Pizza / Pasta - and in particular they like supermarket frozen pizza ( so no high expectations here ! ).

So - understanding what it is .... how was CiCi's ? dirty ? was the buffet replenished in a regular basis. Was it a shark frenzy to get anything off the buffet ? Anyone get food poisoning ?

We are pretty flexible about food - we have plenty of nice options planned - this is meant to be provender :rotfl:

Give me your thoughts - or any other suggestions for lunch. We are looking to eat around Kissimmee - staying in Windsor Palms

Thanks

I thought it was good (not great) for the price. My kids loved it. They replentished the pizzas frequently. There was a big variety.

Thanks - we will give it a try ! My 2 would eat cardboard if it had sauce and cheese on it and I like the fact that it is a buffet - no waiting 20 minutes.

We always go to CiCi's at least once, usually twice, during our trips. We like it and find it to be clean with lots of variety.

We ate there during our trip last year. It was good. They kept the pizza coming out fresh the whole time we were there.

Can't comment on Orlando CiCis

At our local CiCis, if you want a particular pizza, they'll make it for you and bring it to your table. Turnover is quick so pizzas are usually quite fresh, even during slower periods.

It's pricey for our family, so we go on rare occasions, but I can see us going more as our kids get older. My kids LOVE the Mac/Cheese pizza. Think it's gourmet or something :rotfl2:

Personally, I find the quality to be so-so. But it's fine for my crew. The salad bar is uninspired...iceberg and other basic stuff. NOthing special but you can fill up and get in/out pretty quickly.

Save some room for a gooey brownie and apple pie pizza.

Never been to the Orlando area ones ( we generally eat on-site everywhere but maybe one meal) however locally Cici's is great.

The price for buffet varies by your location, for my area it's 4.99 for adults except one day a week it is 3.99, this doesn't include your drink. They have pastas, soups, salad, tons of pizzza choices, dessert pizzas and other stuff.

As stated before, at my area one they will make whatever you want and bring it to you, but they keep the buffet filled with hot fresh prizza all the time.

Iis it gourmet type pizza?? No, not in the least, but for the price and the amount you can fill up on it is great in my book. :thumbsup2

We love CiCi's. We have one here that we eat at a lot. My kids love it and ask to go all the time!! We also tried the one in Orlando back in Dec. It was great as well. It isn't a fancy pizza place but the pizza is yummy and at a great price!

We tried CiCis on the 192 during our trip last month and as already stated it is nothing special. Our kids really enjoyed it - they are big pizza fans and they don't care much which type. The place was clean, the pizza was fresh with new ones coming out frequently and above all it was really good value for money - well worth a try.

Sorry if this seems nosy, but are you the mother of quadruplets?

Is there a CiCi's close to Windsor Hills? My kids love to go to CiCis here at home and we will be at WH in July.

Thanks for any help:thumbsup2

I googled mapped it and there is one on 192 a few miles from Windsor Palms ( which is in the same general vicinty as Windsor Hills )

It's $5.99 in Orlando though they may have coupons. 2 things you don't see in Orlando are cheap Cicis pizza and value menus at McDonalds :confused3

I have a shameful weakness for the cinnamon buns at Cicis :-)There are some Cicis coupons linked to here just scroll down to get to them.
I know the location might be less convenient but Sweet Tomatoes at The Crossroads nr Downtown Disney is also a buffet, a similar sort of price range and many people prefer the food choices.

We have gone to CiCi's in our area and also one on 192 near WDW. Our kids like it, we don't.

Our family has tried Cici's twice. We decided not again. Yuck! We went to the one on 192. I thought it was dirty and the pizza blah.

Save some room for a gooey brownie and apple pie pizza.

Yum, I love the brownies there. Sooooo delicious! I have never been to the Cici's in orlando, but the one near our home is very good. The pizza is always fresh and they will make any pizza for you if you request it. The quality isn't great, but it is good for the price.

Thanks again, the Swett Tomatoes is on our list - but for this meal - we just want something close and fast.

I live near Boston and 6.99 is not very expensive! Disnry prices don't shock me too much - our restaurant prices here are nuts.

Well - I'll poke my head in and check it out before we eat I am always concerned about cleanliness......

Cici's needs to be busy to be good as that way there is a stream of frsh pizza all the time. They wll also make you a specific pizza of you request it. For the money ($4.99-$5.99 depending on location) it can be OK - never great but cheap, quick and filling. The garlic bread and apple pizza as well as the cinnamon rolls are really standouts. Kids love it. Some locations are better than others- we've had good luck at the Palm Parkway one and the one near Westgate/Windsor Hills/Orange Lake on 192 (next to a mini-golf) while the one near Grand Beach resort on 535 and the on on 192 ZEast side both were disappointing and seemed rather dirty. I suppose it can change over time either way.
