Anyone driving down I-75 to DISCON??

Wondering if anyone would want to start a convoy...

Sorry, but I'll be a few miles to the east. From where I live, it makes more sense to go down I-77/I-95. A convoy would be a lot of fun, especially if we all have one of those family radios. They work great for convoys.

Now if you would consider driving down I-77......

Hi, shep. I've decided to drive down instead of flying.

I'll be driving down I-75 from Atlanta after I get off work around 8:00 A.M., Saturday morning, November 30, 2002.

Are you just driving thru or are you going to rest in Atlanta? From my handy-dandy date list, I see that you will be driving on 12/02/02.

If I know in advance maybe we can hook up and follow each other..
It takes me around 5 hours to get to Atlanta.
I think we will spend the night possibly somewhere else on saturday night and possibly go to a beach somewhere sunday before heading to DW..

Boohoo. Nobody wants to convoy down I-95 with me. And I don't suppose that I can convince anyone to meet me in Hardeeville on Saturday night for dinner either.

I could drive down I-75, but it adds 100 miles to my journey. And I'm not going to arrive until Sunday afternoon, so you guys would have to wait up for me. Guess I'll just see you when I get there.

Unless I can find a great deal on airfare we might be driving down from Indiana on the 2nd. Floyd booked us at the ASMu at the $49 rate to start on the 3rd and leave on the 10th. I actually prefer to drive but Floyd wants to fly.
