Hi,

Has anyone been to the "Sea Life" centre over at Val d'Europe?.

Roughly how much time does it take to get around it?
Is it worth it?

Personally it isn't something that I'm interested in doing - others in the party are however.

Thanks

Be interested in others comments since we had hoped to get there in the summer. Illness forced less days at the park so we never managed.

I went last december and soent a very happy few hours with my friend. Lots of quite cool fishies in tanks, walk through tanks and rays that you can "stroke" and feed at certain times of the day. If you have no interest in animals or fish it probably isnt best for you, but it is really fun to watch the fish, crabs, rays etc swimming around if you are even remotely interested and I think it would be great for kids!

Just my humble opinion

Just to give an alternative opinion - we went and found it thoroughy underwhelming. It was much smaller than most coastal aquariums we have visited in the UK and we were in and out in under an hour. We couldn't wait to get back to DLRP and have since binned our free tickets we've received on every return visit to DLRP.

We're got tickets for our next trip, mainly because we're there for 6 days and I thought it would make a change to visit the shopping centre etc. during the stay.
There is a website Sea Life :earsgirl:

Hi,

We did the sealife centre our first trip, and I'm afraid I have to agree to some extent with Steve. Compared to the London and Portsmouth Aquariums it is quite limited - however if you haven't been to any of the larger ones, I think it would be a nice complimentary trip from DLRP if you were there for a longer stay. Our kids were in and out in under an hour, and just wanted to get back to the parks........but maybe thats not a reflection on the sealife centre, more an endorsement of DLRP :goodvibes
