So, I know we can now use our 3 scheduled fastpass+ reservations and THEN get additional fastpass+ reservations (one at a time) added at the kiosks.

With this being said I would assume most people will select morning fastpass+ reservations so they can try for more. Has anyone done this and had luck?

prior to the changes I would always get my 3 later in the day b/c I can ride so much in the mornings on standby with not much wait.

Now I'm worried that I'll use my 3 fastpass+ selections in the morning at a time when things are not that bad anyways and then not have anything left to pick from for the "additional" fastpass+ rides.??

any advice would be great...thanks

I haven't been yet, but several have reported good luck getting multiple fast passes, even for some headlines.

We were there last week. One day we were able to nab a 4th FP for Test track (at kiosk at around 4pm). At DHS and MK we could have gotten a 4th, but honestly there wasn't much left that we wanted.

Epcot, DHS, and AK had signs up at each FP location saying what was available and all week (supposedly a lower crowd week) the headliners were listed as "limited" by 10 am.

IMO use the first hour to ride like you always would have. If possible schedule your FP for 10, 11, 12 and then start getting more. Get the 4th for a headliner ASAP, and then use them for less popular rides.

Someone on here last week reported that they got 11 FP+'s, four alone for Space Mountain. :thumbsup2

To be fair though, that would take a LOT of finagling with return times and adjusting things on the fly.

Obtained 7 FPs on Friday 5/9. All from the kiosks. Nothing was reserved in advance. 4 at Animal Kingdom, 3 at Magic Kingdom. MK still had Space and Splash available about 645pm, but the return times were for much later. Granted, it was a relatively slow evening at MK.

My question would be are the number of FP+'s available each day in the park comparable to the number of paper FP's that would have been available in the park? If so then FP+ availability shouldn't be much different than it was with paper FP. Some you know will run out by lunch, some will be available until evening and some will never run out.

So does anyone actually know if the numbers are similar? I've heard lots of guesses about it but haven't seen any facts.

Actually I was that person, and it took absolutely no finagling with return times, and the only time I adjusted something on the fly was when I turned up at a ride and it was down.
