Anyone done Soaring at DL?

I'm not one for *making you sick* rides but this was great. Very smooth.

This sounds like a must for us. Just one query. Can someone tell me what the seating and restraints are like for some one who is a little larger than most.

Regards. princess:

I don't think you'll have a problem. The seats are fairly wide and the restraint is a simple lap belt. I've seen plenty of "Pooh" sized people ride w/o a problem.

Ride is good although the resolution of the film is bad. You would think that they would have filmed in high definition to enhance the experience.

It certainly doesn't make you sick, you can always close your eyes or look to the side if you feel in the least bit queasy.

I would put it about 4th or 5th on my list of best rides at DCA.

The restraints are seat belts.

It's a nice ride, but yeah, it's about 3rd on my list. Although I haven't had a problem with the resolution. The only thing that bothers me is seeing the "texture" of the screen sometimes.

We have high definition at home and the quality of the film at Soarin was definitely marginal.

Rode this for hte first time last Januay and thought it was awesome!

I'm really afraid of heights and sat in the "top" row each time. The only thing that freaked me out was the little kids who sat next to me kept leaning way for over to see the floor (which you really cant do) and I was worried about THEM falling out. They were fine of course.

I really felt like I was flying and can't wait to do it again!
