Anyone done a kids birthday at CRT or Mickey's BBQ?

I have ADR's for DD's 5th birthday at CRT for lunch and Mickey's Backyard BBQ for dinner. We'll probably get a cake for both. Has anyone done a kids birthday at either of these? Do they do anything special?

Birthdays, Anniversaries, Engagements etc. are everywhere all the time. They get free dessert and it all depends on the place what else they might do.

Thanks, I was just wondering if anyone had done one at either place. Some places might be more fun for a kids birthday than others, so I want to make sure to have it somewhere she'll enjoy!

WE did !!

We had an 8:05 AM adr at CRT - our table was by the window, and was decorated, had the MM confetti - and I scooped it up and put it in a ziplock btw!! They brought a cake - it was chocolate with white icing and sprinkles, and it was moist and wonderful -

That night we had aDR at LTT - and i preordered a cake - it was THE WORST CAKE EVER!! I complained, it had been frozend, then thawed, because the icing was falling off, it was not moist, and it was not chocolate (that I ordered) it did not have DD name on it - it was NOT worth $$ imho - take the free cupcake, its larger than average, more dome shape...

If I had to really choose between those two, I'd definitely also pick the castle. Even just the atmosphere alone will seem very special!!! Have fun!!!
