Anyone doing the may 07 dance?!

Next week we'll be at the airport and will be boarding the plane very soon! :woohoo:

Hey NC STATE, question for you: How long does it take you to drive to WDW? I see you're in Johnston Co. We're in Raleigh and we'll be driving down in September for the first time in about 8 years. Just wondering what to plan for time wise...

By the way -- GO PACK!!! DH and I are State alums and huge Pack fans! :thumbsup2

We start about 3:15 AM and only stop a few short stops; it takes about 9 hours. We don't have any small children but this worked really good when my daughter was small she would sleep all the way down. Now she's 20 and don't care to go....we don't understand her.:confused3

Soon as the Bell Tower strikes 12; I'm off campus, on the way home on Friday (5/4). We're planning this time to drive until we can't drive anymore, but I have a feeling we will be arriving on Disney about 11:00 pm. Can't make up our minds if we want to add an extra day at POR or maybe stay off site just for Friday night.

If I can help you with anyother questions, please let me know. We have another trip planned for Sept 8-15!:thumbsup2

Anyone go to the California Grill? I am treating my DD(24) and her DBF to dinner there but I have no clue what to expect price wise for budgeting. Will it be around $100 for the two of them or closer to $100 each? Thanks for any and all tips.

One more day!!! Wooo-hooo! Can't wait! Bags are packed and ready to go.:cool1:

I have two finals this week to study for, but we leave on Saturday for our trip. I will be able to RELAX!

We aren't supposed to go to WDW until the 9th, but I think I am going to con my mom into going on the 7th also.

How sweet of you to treat them! It is a wonderful meal and a beautiful view. I really wish we could go back this time. We ate there in 2005 on the DDP and IIRC it would have been over $200 if we paid out of pocket. But that was for 2 adults and three kids, with appetizers and desserts all around.

HTH!

We are leaving Friday morning!!! Actually, we are staying in a hotel the night before near the airport, so technically leaving Thursday!! YAY
