Anyone do split stay - CR & BC??

Ok I know I am planning waaaaay ahead but we are planning a trip to WDW for August 2006. Might get AP since we are going this Oct.

I'd like to try the CR so we could walk to the MK & then stay at the BC & do all our Epcot days then.

Anyone do this? I figured it might be too crowded or hot ot both at the end of August & I'd like a resort we could walk back to from the parks. Thanks!

I personally haven't ever done a split stay (yet... our first split stay is in May!) but staying at CR and then BC sounds like an excellent idea to me. And actually... I think I may want to do the same 2 resorts once my 2 dds get a bit older. We're are doing AKL and Poly (4 nights at each)... so I'll be sure to report and let you know how it goes.

We've stayed at CR quite a few times and the walk to the MK, being only 1 stop away from TTC, boat ride away from WL & FW, and the first stop back from MK is all wonderful! The view (tower, MK side) is truly the best in my opinion too.

We've never stayed at BC (yet) but hope to in the years to come. SAB looks fantastic!

I think your idea is great! Being able to walk back to your resort is such a plus. And while at CR you can eat at Chef Mickeys,rent those little speed boats, take a boat to Wilderness Lodge, see Hoop de Doo. Take the monorail to Kona Cafe, or have Tea at Grand Floridian. .....I think I'm hungry!!!

And think of all the possibilities to eat at within walking distance from the Beach Club!!!

(I better go eat breakfast )

This Aug DS13 & I are booked 6nights VWL, 2nights WL and 6nights BCV

While at VWL we're planning on dinner at Grand Floridian cafe and using their pool (DVC)
brkfst at Chef Mickey's and using their pool
brksft at Kona and using their pool
brkst at Whispering Canyon and dinner another day
Trails End dinner (22 of us)


While at BCV we're planning on brkst at Cape May, using Stormalong Bay & Luna Park pools, brkfst at Yacht Galley & Spoodles, lunches at ESPN & Big River

and lunches/brkfst PSs at the parks
