Has anyone here every done the Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian? I'm having a hard time finding anything about it, except that there is one. We haven't been to Disneyworld in over 3 years (we just moved back from England) and didn't even know about this until I ran across it on the Grand Floridian web page.

When we were living in England, we made several trips to DL-Paris and did the afternoon tea there. It was great because it was so much cheaper than a character breakfast or dinner, but still had plenty of food to make it an early dinner for us.

If anyone has done this, what is the costs and what is served?
Thanks bunches!

I don't know if they still have the Alice in Wonderland tea. The GF does have an afternoon tea that is excellent. It is in a little sunroom at the end of the lobby.

They still have the Wonderland Tea party at GF at least till this Christams since my DW booked it for our daughter again. She went last christmas and she had a lot of fun. There were around 15 kids mostly girls went to that party and the cost was ~ $37 dollars and I believe Disney raised their price this year. They served light snacks ( believe it was cookies ) and used apple juice as tea. BTW, parents are not allowed to go into the room until the party is over.

More info please, my DD would love this. How long does it last? Seems a little $$$.

The Wonderland Tea Party is a kids only event. DD went to it back in 2006 and loved it. :goodvibes

I know they got some sandwiches and I seem to remember her saying there were grapes, too. They also decorated a cookie or cupcake. The "tea" served was apple juice, I believe. So, it's a fun party atmosphere with snacks as opposed to a character tea with light meal offering. :)

Parents receive a beeper upon check-in and are thrown out of the room before the party begins. You are asked to return approx. 1 to 1.5 hours later to collect your little ones. ;)

My daughters have done it 2 times and really enjoyed tea with Alice.
First of all, much to my middle daughter's chagrin it is not tea, but juice!
You drop the kids off at the Gf and the party lasts about 2hours. they have 'tea", eat snacks. alice and the mad hatter show up, they take pictures and sign autograph books. It's really cute. My kids always had fun.
They give you a beeped when you ckeck in and will beep you with any problems. DH and I usually head to GF cafe and have lunch.

Happy planning!!!
