I'm wondering if anyone here has taken any of the aerobics classes since the fees were started. Are the classes smaller? I'm considering trying Pilates, but have never done it before. Does anyone have any input on that class. In the past I have gone to one of the classes each day, but not sure what I'll do with the new fee.

how much do they charge?

Beth, we'll be on the cruise in a few weeks....oh...but i'll be on the wonder, i think you'll be on the magic....
anyway, if i do try out the classes, i'll let you know how they are...
i wonder how crowded the workout room is...
i'd like to get some treadmill/eliptical trainer time in....
but i'm not obsessive...so if i miss it, that's ok too...

Not that I've even been on the DCL cruise but I did read somewhere that the fee is $10 per class. Seems a bit high for me, and I do Pilates. Would hate to miss a week since I'll be eating alot. May just have to bite the bullet and say what the heck. ::yes::

betha, i love pilates but i doubt i will pay a fee for a class. i walk on sea days and work with free weights if i feel up to it but, after all, it is vacation.

it's dissapointing though. given the cost of the cruise and the cost of the other spa services it feels like dcl is nickel and diming us. free soda was a step forward, an aerobic fee is a step back.

see you in a week.

One week from today we are cruising!! If you look at the recent Navigators they are charging $10 for some of the classes-yoga, pilates, kickboxing, etc. I guess noone out there has done any classes since the fee started. I might just have to walk.

beth, i generally walk early on deck 4 or 10 on sea days. my goal is at least 3 miles which is 9 circuits. one of my favorite parts of the day is breakfast on the deck after exercise.

i figure i'm active enough on shore days and if not.....oh well. i hope the post cruise dwd days walking will help as well.

I've done the free classes, but there's no way I'll be paying for them. Frankly, they weren't as good as what I get at home with my gym membership.
