Hi, for our upcoming FEB trip I have made PS at LeCellier for lunch. We have never been there. Can anyone tell me what is a must?

Also, do you know if they take VKL vouchers?

Thanks!

Yes, they except the VKL vouchers and it is our must do restaurant for each trip. We LOVE the cheese soup, pretzel bread, maple glazed filet and maple creme brulee!! Yum!!!!

We ate there in early Dec for lunch and used a VKL voucher. 1 adult voucher and 1 child voucher. Get the cheese soup, really good and the pretzel breadsticks that they give at the beginning of the meal are great. My DH had the NY strip and I ate the child's sirloin. Both were good, but not the best I've ever had. We got our money's worth out of the vouchers, but really had to try had to find something we both liked. We got the maple creme broulee for desert. I hated it, and DH thought it was OK. DD got the s'mores, good, but very hard to eat.

We went on Christmas Eve for lunch and used two adult vouchers.

DS and I shared the cheese soup, breadsticks, petite filet (was wonderful with cream cheese mashed potatoes and port wine demi glace), and the entire table shared the apple/cranberry cobbler.

We all agreed that this was one of our best meals of the vacation.

Exactly what I had...so goood. My dd had the smores and didn't care for it at all. Not very 'smore's like' she thought. Dh had the berry cobbler and said it was okay. He had the petit filet and said it was wonderful though. The cheese soup, the pretzel breadsticks...we will eat there again.

Le Cellier has very good food, and every time we've been, excellent service. Just be warned that the tables are *very* close together. If that is something that might bother you, you might ask for a table along the wall. All the dishes previous posters have recommended are receive hearty seconds and thirds from me. :)

Happy eating!

I think our family are one of the few that did not care for LeCellier. Maybe I had high expectations, but then again we spent $100 so service and dinner should be better. The food was okay, but not great and our table was by the kitchen door which we should have asked to have switched--our fault. Maybe someday we'll give it another shot but there is too much we have yet to try.

this is one of our favorites.

We haven't had anything there we haven't loved!

LeCellier is one of our favorites too!

We really like Le Cellier. The cheese soup and pretzel bread makes it worth going, but the steaks are fantastic!

This has become one of our favorite restaurants. I am happy with the Cheese Soup, breadsticks & Creme Brulee, but we haven't had anything there we didn't love. I often make my meal out of the side dishes (roasted asparagus, spinach au gratin, soup ....Yum!)

THe salmon is awesome - Le Cellier & Artist Point serve our favorite salmons....

We also love the cheese soup, pretzel bread and 7 oz petite filet. The chocolate cake for dessert is to die for!

No, there are 2 of us. I had no expectations when we went because I hadn't heard anything about it. We both had steak and were disappointed. Service was extremely slow although our server was nice and friendly. It is doubtful we will ever go back.

The cheese/bacon soup is AWESOME!!! To avoid family conflicts...we ask for extra pretzel bread...wonderful. Meals are very large...Nan and I normally split a lunch/dinner.
Le Cellier is a must-must do...each visit.

We loved Le Cellier. We tried it for the first time on this last Christmas trip and it will be on the list every trip from now on! We loved the cheese soup......................has a wonderful flavor and a kick to it.........even the 2 year old slurped it up! The pretzel bread was great..........we also asked for extra. I had the Petit Filet and my dh had prime rib...........he had the yukon roasted potatoes and I had cream cheese mashed........very excellent. My ds had the kids' steak, though, and it looked very dry to me, though he ate it all. I had the berry cobbler for dessert, and ds had chocolate "moose" which was adorably created to look like a moose. We loved it.

We had lunch at le Cellier on December 19thm the cheese soup was delicious.

We actually pulled the recipe off the internet and made it last week.. tasted identical ~ if anyone wants it with instructions let me know.

We haven't eaten there, but we are going this trip. I can't wait, I've read so many good things about it. :cool1:

Just got back and ate with the Candlelight Processional Package. Went on here to get feedback before I chose the restaurant. I made an excellent choice. Highly recommend it. The maple-glazed filet and the chedder soup can't be beat. If you eat lunch, you probably won't need dinner.

....cheese soup, cheese soup! Uhhh, did I mention the CHEESE SOUP??!?!

Maple glaze filet mignon. It is the best steak I've ever had.
