anyone cruising in sept and a few other quesions

We are thinking about a 7 day cruise sept 4 or 11th? has anyone ever been on one during labor day weekend?
also the eastern carib cruise has switched san juan for st maarten..is there gambling in san juan or st thomas?

Yes ganurse, there are several casinos in San Juan.
Answered both posts for you, do you get the idea we're a Vegas style family. DW out west as we speak. Wish she'd start doing better financially. However, the drink to time spent ratio has been very high, she said.

Oh, and the cruises we've done so far, still awaiting our first on DCL, have all been in Sept., our Anniversary is the 12th. Weather has always been great (well if you don't count the Mexican Riviera hurricane trip, which we still had a great time on) and it's never seemed overly crowded.
