Anyone cruise 1st week in Sept on either 7 night?

And find it too hot to enjoy veranda or excursions?

We did the western. Definately not too hot. Beautiful weather, smooth seas!

last year we sailed sept 4th or we were supposed to..we had to wait out the hurricane so we actually sailed sept 7th..it was a shortened cruise but we feel they treated us well.

Temperatures are usually beautiful - we've done a half dozen sailing in sept. All were wonderful except for the hurricane disruptions we experienced alst year. But then again - DCL took decent care of us even though the 7 day was shortened to a 4 nite trip.

We sailed last year on Sep 11th and we honestly did find it to be too hot to enjoy the veranda much except for the early morning/late evening.

No worse than a late spring/summer day at WDW, though, so if you can tolerate that you should be fine.

pearlieq, we too were on the 9/11 cruise last year. I did not find it too exceptionally hot during the day, but for the most part we used ours in the morning and early/late evening. I still would not sail without it though. I loved the veranda.
