I have just started trying to sort out the hundreds of photos I have from all out Disney Trips. There are so many I haven't even had printed and like the idea of the photo books but have never made one.
Are there some that are better than others. Seem to be so many companies that do them. We are getting PP+ this year and I wanted to make some up for my brothers family but though it would be good to have a practice first!

I quite like the ones where you have a few different pictures on one page rather than one picture per page.
Thanks

I make photo books from photobox.com. They are part of Boots so I can claim Boots points from them. They are more expensive than other companies but they often have discounts offered. The quality is really good. Not tried other companies for books but I have had some canvas' made up from cheaper companies and they do look much cheaper than the photobox ones.

I always use myphotbook.
They have a PC software you can download to your computer, and make your book offline. Others like photobox often require you to upload your pictures first. I think it's less convinient to pick the right photograph from ridiculously small thumbnails rather than from my computer's file explorer. So myphotobook suits me better.

I often get deals from private sales which give me 50% off and 6 months to finalize and order the book. But these offers may not be available in the UK

I know this is not what you mean for the photobook that you're doing right now but when it comes to your next WDW holiday when you're using your PP+ I used the Disney photopass website and their photobook and although it was expensive, probably due to the fact that I ended up with 50 pages :rotfl2::rotfl2: it is totally wonderful. Being able to use their pages, boarders, frames and special effects means that you end up with a truly unique momento and I would highly recommend it :thumbsup2

I have been trying all morning to upload my own photos to the Disney photopass page. It says you can do this but it just doesn't work. I can create a file but cant drag any of the photos into the different pages. I really love the disney ones and assume it will be much easier with the proper photopass pictures. However, I would want to use some of our own aswell. I bet there is something really simple that I am missing!

Glad I'm not the only one! I'm like you when it comes to photos. Never get round to doing anything with them. Our first disney trip I started making an album as I actually got them printed out. I have up to Day 2 of the trip in the the album and the rest are still in their wallets under the computer. LOL! My other trips are on memory cards or PC. The only time I got organised was after a 3 week trip to Western Canada when I made up a photobook for my Mum and Dad. I still like to look at it when I go round. It was with Bonus Print and was really good quality. The software let you put multiple pictures on a page and use custom colours for background. I would use again if I ever get organised. At the moment they are doing £10 promotion off your first book.

It took me a while but in the end I managed to load my own photos up to the photopass website by doing them in small groups. I think I did no more than 10 at a time. Time comsuming but so worthwhile :thumbsup2

I am looking forward to making a Disney Photobook next time having bought the PP+ for our trip.

In the meantime, I have always used Costco for my photobooks and been really pleased with the quality and price- there is usually some sort of offer on the go.

I always use TruPrint - there is usually a half-price offer on and I also use Quidco. For my Disney trip, I used their photobook and was delighted with the results.:)
