Anyone concerned about Friday's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Friday?

Hey guys! WE have tickets for Friday's Halloween Party. Very concerned about weather for the price of the tickets paid. an occassional thunderstorm...no big deal.... tropical storm winds and rain.....no thank you. Does anyone know if they will hold the party if the storm hits Orlando as projected? Has this ever happened in the past? I wasn't sure with the stage shows and parade being such a big part of this events. Thanks in advance!

They will cancel the shows and parade. If its light rain, consider it a blessing, the last time I went to the halloween party when it was lightly raining, I met every single character in the park, including the dwarves and skellington with less than 10 minutes wait. If the canceling isn't to your liking, go to guest services, ask for a refund or a ticket to another night.
