anyone checked in at the poly lately?

when i say lately, I mean in the last month or so..I was wondering how early you arrived at the resort, and if you got your room upon arrival?????

Last time I checked the resort on the disney website they still had rooms available for the time we are going to be there. I was just wondering what are the chances of getting a room at 7:00 in the morning??????? 50/50, 60/40, 10/90 ???

I checked in at 9:30 am on June 27th and our room was ready so yours could be as well even if you check in at 7:00 am. We were in Rarotonga which was close to everything (bus stop, GCH, arcade, laundry) and I just loved the poly. We've stayed at Beach Club (didn't care for it at all), CBR (enjoyed our stay there) and now the poly and it is my new favorite -- it's great having the monorail so close.

Checked in 06/20/04 to 06/30/04 at Noon, had rooms available in Samoa, but upgraded to Hawaii which was also available.

7:00 a.m. may be early, but you never know, try it. It might be the new check in time record.

Checked in on July 4th at about 11:30 and our room was ready

We checked in early, but not that early. You can check in at 7am and they will hold your luggage for you until your room is ready. have a great trip. We loved the Poly. The pool is great!

We checked in May 31st at around 3:30 and our rooms were NOT ready. They said housekeeping leaves at 4:30, which I assume meant the rooms would be ready no later than that. They were ready by 4. We think this is because we were traveling with my Mom, who uses a scooter. We had made many requests, like ground floor, close to lobby for Mom. Plus we asked for adjoining rooms. Every request was graciously met and we had a ball in Raratonga. So perhaps if you are more flexible than we were, you can get an early room.
