Anyone celebrate b-day or anniversary at HDDR?

What is it like? The cm on the phone said they have a special desert and they announce the occasion or something like that? Just wondering what it is like? Anyone got any pics?

Also, when you order a glass of wine is that considered your drink or can you get that along with you coke, etc?

They announce the special occasions at all restaurants. Whenever we do a birthday, we order a birthday cake from one of the bakeries on property to be delivered during dinner.

At HDDR, they have a special spot in the performance every time to announce anyone celebrating anything. That's when they'll do something public for you =)

As far as special dessert, dessert (strawberry shortcake) is included but I'm not sure if they do anything in addition to that. I sorta doubt it since it's part of the show but they might put a candle in it or something.

They discourage people from ordering a seperate cake because of the timing of the show and the dessert.

I forgot the drink question! We didn't have a problem getting several drinks. I think I had a coke, sangria (at the time that was the only alcoholic choice besides beer), and coffee. Just let your waiter know =)
