My sister is having a WDW wedding on 12/3 and we are trying to plan the rehearsal dinner for O'Hanas the night before. We'd like to time it to see the MK fireworks (if they have them that night) but aren't sure what the hours would be...

I would guess MK closing at 7 pm but any Dec veterens who might know what has been done in recent years?

Hi Jenn

We were there last year during the week after Thanksgiving.

The MK closed last year @ 6pm. SInce you are planning dinner the night before (12/2), the MK will be closing @ 6pm since it is a MVMCP night. You will be able to catch the 6pm fireworks as well as the special fireworks from MVMCP. Those fireworks are amazing. They are 360 degrees around the park. There is no "bad" place to see them.

During that week, I remember, MGM closed @ 7pm, MK @ 6pm, AK@ 5pm, Epcot, FW@6pm and WS@9:30 pm.

If I can remember anything else I will let you know. My suggestion would be to have dinner @6pm and try to stay as long as possible, but you can also hang out by the beach to see the fireworks later,

Have fun!

That was quick! Thanks so much - I totally forgot about MVMCP - that explains alot. A follow up question - what time are the special fireworks during MVMCP?

Hi Jenn

I think they may have been around 9:15 pm or so. I think it would be cool to watch them from the Poly beach.

Thanks for that info.. I will be there at that time as well and I cannot wait.. I love WDW decorated for Christmas, it just puts you right in the mood... :)
