Anyone care to guess at airfare in December?

We need to book for early November, but I cannot seem to find the location on the SWA site for the date they plan to open the schedule. I heard it's May 18th. I sure hope so because I would like to begin confirming resort and car.

I booked one way only from EWR to MCO for 11/29/12 for $120.80 each on United. The return trip has gone up to $131 on UA. I have to wait since I am not sure of the return date. DH will go home 12/3 but I might stay and visit my sister. We regularly travel to WDW the first week of Dec and this is the most I have paid in a while. We have a cruise next week and I paid $478.40 for two rt tickets from Newark travelling on 5/18/2012.

I'm itching to go to WDW in December. I've always paid less than $200 round trip per person from RI to FL. But with the gas prices lately I'm scared that's not going to happen. SW (the only carrier in RI that flies direct to FL) hasn't released dates past November 2 yet.

Anyone care to guess if the prices are going to increase a lot or remain about what they are now?

We already booked our airfare. It was approx $250 (with taxes and fees), round trip. out of Bradley (Hartford/Springfield)...both non-stop flights..with Jet blue. Early morning (7 AM) departure and late return (6 PM out of Orlando).

That's in early December. We, too, have scored approx $200 round trip airfare to Orlando out of BDL at the same time of year, in the past. I don't see much hope of that, this year, unless there are some good last minute sales (and I won't wait til last minute when booking our airfare...too risky).

I will say this: Fare for the same dates and times we booked, a month or so ago, has shot up almost $100. They're now running around $345, round trip.
