Plan on taking extra good care of your feet.
I would plan on taping the little guy to his neighbor daily.
Also allow time for ice packs on it every night. 20 minutes on 20 minutes off and repeat a few times. Since you'll be there for two weeks, when you have a chance to rest ice, ice, ice. That will keep the soreness and swelling down.
Also- watch out for hot spots and blisters in spots that you don't normally get them in. If your still sore, when you walk, you'll be favoring that side of your foot, your step will be a little off causeing those blisters to pop up in odd spots. Bring along the moleskin for those.
The first time we went after I had foot surgery, (about 2 1/2 months after) I got blisters in spots I had never got them in before. I also found it difficult to spend any amount of time walikng in sandals... even good tevas...
Good luck
