anyone bought direct while in the UK

hi, we are considering buying into the grand floridian dvc, but not sure how the process would go if we would buy from outside the US. We live in Belgium, but could easily go to the UK to sign the papers there.
Has anyone ever bought direct from Disney while being in the UK? (so not while at the parks in the US) If so, when was this and what did the process involve? Did you need to find a notary or was simply one witness enough?

We bought direct and they just fed ex us the papers to sign with no witness needed.

We paid cash though so I am not 100% sure how it works if you need to finance. I think that may have to be done whilst there.
