Anyone booked with Virgin using Tesco vouchers?

Does anyone have any experience with this?

We booked our holiday at a Virgin store on 21 Feb and sent off our Clubcard vouchers straight away special delivery as instructed by Virgin. We then received an invoice in the post a couple of days later which didn't show we'd paid the £1050 in clubcard vouchers yet, but didn't worry as Virgin had told us we'd first receive this, then an updated invoice showing our voucher payment. They didn't specify how long it would be before we got the updated invoice, and we still haven't received this, so my question to anyone who's done this before is, how long should it take? I may have to go and ask Virgin soon as I'm getting worried :confused:

We booked with Tesco vouchers, and it was on the invoice instantly, I would check they have received them etc. I actually contacted VH through their Facebook Page and they were really helpful, they private messaged me everything that I needed to know. Have you looked on the "manage my booking" area of their website too? Becuase you can request an updated invoice on there and see if that is different to what you have already got?

I've booked three hols using Tesco points, and it can take anything up to 6 weeks for your vouchers to appear on your booking. IF you've sent them by recorded or special delivery and they've received them it will be fine.

You can also check on-line in the manage your booking section to see when they are credited to your account. It depends how busy they are, and also they have to carry out security checks on them to make sure that they are genuine vouchers. How they do this I don't know, but this is what they told me once when I rang up chasing them.
 
Thanks for this guys, I gave them a call today and I'm glad I did as apparently they had the wrong booking ref or something which is why the vouchers hadn't been added. They have now though and I can see the updated invoice on the website - yay! It's pretty cool to see 25% of the cost of the holiday just disappear lol! :woohoo:
