Not sure if anyone can answer this one, but here goes. DH has admitted he WOULD like to go back to WDW for Xmas..BUT, and here is the problem, he wont book anything! He reckons we will do it if we can get a last minute deal (and if we can afford it!!), however, I know that Xmas is not the time to look for bargains!! I HAVE found some pretty good deals around now, but I know they arent going to be around very long. We are VERY restricted on dates as well.

My question is, has anyone booked for Xmas at the last minute?? I am only worried about the flights as the rest can fit around those. Is it a realistic possiblity to book Christmas at the final hour?? Personally, I dont think so, but I would be interested in any comments or experiences!

Thanks.
Allie.

I've often thought about booking at last minute, for Florida, but I'd be too scared to miss out. I would be very surprised if you could get flights for all of you. You may be better planning for next year. At least you could check prices this year and then you'll know what you should be likely to be paying. But it's an awful long wait!

Are your dates flexible? Because if they are not I would book asap. The Christmas flights go very quickly, and some are already full.

We have yet to book our flights for Christmas because we have to wait until our eldest gets the results for her A levels on 14 Aug, so we know which uni she is going to. First and second choice vary their holiday dates by 10 days.

I have been keeping an eye on the prices, and if we can still go early we are fine, if we have to go late it looks very difficult, and expensive!

We really struggled back in March! We wanted to be over there for Xmas and New Year but like a lot of people have to be back at work on the 5th and we cannot take time off during Jan. I think if you are a little more flexible you maybe ok and also if you are ok flying non direct.

BOOK NOW.

We left it till last two weeks before Christmas but the prices never came down we paid £550.00 each for flights only that was
two years ago, also it was a charter flight so the legroom was some what small,I have booked to go this christmas 18th Dec-2nd Jan via Chicago with Bmi/United for £425.00 inc taxes which I think is a good deal also full size car with all insurances was £350,

Have fun & good luck.:earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy:
