I ALWAYS book with Virgin Holidays directly, but came across the Funways brochure. With the same hotel, dates, airport, car hire (Alamo, not Dollar) flying with Virgin Atlanic was £700 cheaper with Funways.

:cool1:

I booked with them just a couple of weeks ago for a trip on May 1st. We are Frequent Virgins so usually book Flydrive with Virgin holidays but they didnt have our flights at this late date.

Funway operates Virgin flights and the price was great. I dealt with Natalie, she was FAB! No waiting in phone queues, no irritating menus or recorded messages, they just aswer the phone quickly and politely. The flight is Virgin, the car is Alamo, I do not forsee any problems. I have spoken to Virgin to request seats together and a child booster for DD 2 and they had it all noted on our booking as Natalie had done it already.

GREAT service!

We booked a fly-drive with them (BA flights) a few years ago, and have booked accommodation through them for our trip this summer because they had availability at a better price than I could find elsewhere.

No problems with our previous experience of them and so far, so good, for this booking! :)

I booked with them last year for dec 05 flights. They had the flights available before lots of tour operators. We were quoted aprrox £1800 through VH for 2A and 2C flydrive and that was including our 10% off. Well we are paying £1300 for the same flights and that includes 3 nights at the asmo resort. They are great to deal with, you get through on the phone straight away and they always call you back when they say they will.

mrsminniemouse - I believe I recommended Funways to you, I am glad you got a good deal with them. :)

Thanks DIsney BB, I could not remember who recommended them. Yes, they were great to deal with. The trip we booked was a last minute one and noone but Funway had the flights we wanted even though we were prepared to be a bit flexible with dates. Even with Funway, we had to depart on Sat 1 May instead of Sat 30 April as the prices go up on May 1, lots of people choose to travel on April 30 so it was sold out. Plus as DH has, you get to take advantage of May Day and 'save' a day of work holiday time. But a 13 day trip to WDW is better than not going at all. We were lucky to get DVC accomodations at the last minute too.

I will look into using Funway in the future. I am very pleased with the service and pricing.

Thanks for the tip!

We looked at Funways a few years ago and they looked very reasonable. Another one to look at the Thomas Cook Signatures - they also do Virgin and BA flight.
