Anyone booked a treehouse?

Has anyone booked a treehouse yet? What do you know about the amenities? I saw the few pics of the pool, and YIKES! I'm hoping that's just a placeholder!

How long is the walk to the main part of the resort? I'll be traveling with someone with so-so knees. I'm wondering how he might hold up. We don't usually rent a car, and I'd hate to rent a car just for the trip to the main pool area.

I don't think they are open yet

They are due to open June 1st. Lots of people have ressies (we do for 3 nights next January). There will be lots of pictures and reports in just a couple of weeks I'm sure.

We'll be there in October. Looking at the map is always different than being there, so don't be scared yet! I'm holding onto the thought that if things aren't quite right when they open in June, Disney will work it out by October.

We'll be there the first week in Sept. I'm on pins and needles!

I dont' expect the pool to be big or even well themed since there are only 60 units total. If you want a slide you'll have to go over to Saratoga Springs (which you can do).

I love the idea of the peace and quiet, but I'm wondering if the seclusion will be too inconvenient to the amenities at the rest of the resort.

I'll be at SSR in August-I'll just have to walk over and see for myself!
