I was wondering if anyone who has a postcard code for January has booked AKL using this. I was lucky enough to get a postcard for a time when we're actually going to WDW--a first! :yay:

Just curious what the prices are, since it's too late at night to call.

TIA for any info.

Yes! I booked from 1/15-1/23 using the pin code. I booked a pool view room for $195 a night. I believe standard view was $180 and Savannah view was $250. AND they let me add the MYW package with the free hopping and water parks! I'm actually paying a total of $50 less to stay at AKL than he king bed room in POR that I originally booked!!

I just got off the phone with reservations. They also quoted me $250/night for a savannah-view room, which price does not include taxes. So, a 4-night vacation for 2 adults, including passes, came to over $1600.

But the exact same nights and passes, which I checked online with Disney.com last night, came to $1566 using code ZCK. I'm 90% certain that price includes taxes. If it doesn't, please let me know.

So now I'm really confused. But that's the fun of planning a trip to WDW!

4 nights at 250 + tax = 1130
2 adult tickets + tax = 430.26
1560

New deal with no post card, Savannah View NO BUNKBED OPTION (112 less than with bunkbed) Jan 1 - 5, No insurance 1557.60. I dont know why that is less than adding it up straight out but, in the past with these deals the rooms have also benn discounted a bit as well. So I dont know what they did with yours but Just that bunkbed option it defaulted to till I told it no could make that difference. As well as the fact that it automatically defaults to having insurance which even sometimes when you tell them no insurance they forget to take it off.

Also remember that that postcard deal only takes 35 per night off or for a 4 night stay saves about 140. So assume you take off the 140 but then add in the 112 for the bunk bed default AND the 119 for the it would be over 1600.

Edited to fix my date typeo on the new deal part but also to add, as I was checking to make sure I didnt put it in wrong, I played around with it some and dates like Jan 6 I couldnt get the deal with the exact same specifics so it may have forced you into the more expensive savannah view or something. Also I played around comparing the new deal with booking without the deal with no ticket add ons and it looks like the deal is giving you the same 250 rate for the room.

How do you check the code offer on the WDW website? I would love to check and see what the offer would save us. Maybe make a slight alteration to our reservation if the offer is a good one. Thank you in advance for your help. :bride: :groom:

The email code you cant. But the current special offer (I guess it has a 3 letter code but I dont know it) I dont have the link handy but I've been gettin to it by going to disneyworld.com and putting deals into the search box then clicking on the first link it gives you then again on the first link that it brings up it tells you about the deal and gives you 2 options, dependant on date.

Thank you so much I can't express my thanks enough. I found where you explained to me how to access the section. I am now having TONS of fun looking at the options that have seemed to open up if I take advantage of the code. This will be our first trip to WDW and our honeymoon, so this is a wonderful bit of Pixie Dust to add to things. I do have to ask if we already have a deposit down, but have not yet paid in full cause we are still a month out from due date can we still call and apply the code? Guess I should have asked this first. :bride: :groom:

Lostgirlz: I'm pretty sure you can apply the code to whatever you've already got booked as long as it's not under the 45-day-prior-to-arrival mark. (I hope I got that right...if not, someone please correct me!)

Have a wonderful honeymoon. We had our honeymoon at WDW and it was perfect!

Miffy thank you for the well wishes and reply. I called this AM and was able to apply the code, and saved a decent amount not that it was a HUGE thing if it was not able to be applied as we were going to have a wonderful honeymoon either way, but it was able to be and hey it just sweetens the spending pot the way I see it. LOL Cindy singing toaster, and pooh bear waffle maker here I come. :bride: :groom:

Lostgirlz: I am so happy for you! Reading about you planning for your honeymoon has made me think about my beautiful honeymoon. So, thank you a bunch.

Meanwhile, I succumbed and booked our room for January. I decided to get an AP and book the AP rate for AKL savannah-view for our 5 nights. Good rate ($205 before tax) and I like the room-only booking. No problem getting a room for the dates we wanted (Jan 21-26). Plus :yay: having an AP means there could possibly be another trip this year. :yay:

Can you tell I'm thrilled? :cloud9:

You are very welcome and grats on getting a good rate for AKL. Also thank you for the well wishes. :bride: :groom:
