Well, we changed our Saturday VB ressie to BWV, but no availability on Sunday so we still have a VB ressie that night. Not sure how all this will work out but we'll see. Keeping fingers crossed!

they say this morning it was 5 days away from hitting anything in the US - hurricanes can and do change alot.

hey the weather bureau didn't even get the last one right....I hope that they do much better with this one!

We have reservations and have been really looking forward to our first visit for the holiday weekend at Vero but it is fairly certain at this point that we will not be going! Rest assured that much of the Florida coastline will soon be evacuating. I am near Orlando and preparations are already being made to deal with a very large and dangerous storm. Wouldn't want to anywhere NEAR Vero with a storm in this category.

Also, this storm is predicted to make landfall in less than five days depending on where exactly it decides to come ashore. If it makes landfall near Vero they predict it will be sometime on Saturday. Even though hurricanes can and do change course anyone in this area should really pay attention to what this storm is doing.
