BIL was just telling us that while trying to get his DD & DS (7&5) upto the stage at MBB he was blocked by a woman w/stroller who was "saving" the isle space. Then when he finally got thru a cm put a "spotlight" on him and said something to the effect of even though we say only kids up to stage there is always one adult. BIL got so embarassed when the kids came back to the seat they all left.(edited) They were also told the stage was full & his kids couldn't participate.

Now personally, I have never been to MBB. BIL can be known to exagerate (sp), but his DD was the one who started telling us. She said "the man yelled at Daddy". I'm not sure what time of "scene" might have been made with the situation of him trying to get his kids thru & BIL has a booming voice, so perhaps he was louder than he realized. Or DH thought maybe it was part of the show, in good fun & BIL just didn't realize it.

So, I was wondering if anyone has seen this before.

BIL & family were there in Nov.

I think the comment about there always being one adult was a joke, part of the show and maybe your BIL did not realize it.

As for the children not being allowed on the stage, I'm confused...He said that when they came back to the table, they left. That makes me think the kids were up at the stage for some period of time before you left.

I've had rude waiters and waitresses at WDW shows etc. but nothing like this.

Well definatly tell your DBIL NOT to go to the Whispering Cafe!!!!!!! If he was mortified at the BBQ then he would reallly die of embarrassment at the Cafe....my DH and son asked for refills and they brought out gallon containers! then to add to the insult the waitress said she didn't want to be getting them drinks all night long!!
