Anyone been to the Coral Reef since the chef change?

Just curious if anyone with a point of reference could share if the quality of the Coral Reef has improved, declined, stayed the same, etc., in the last few months.

to know myself. We want to book PS for our next trip.

I hope the food is better than when we went last time. I felt I was ripped off eating there. I remember ordering an appetizer and the whole appetizer fit on half a clam shell with room to spare. I have fillings bigger that that!

That was a couple years ago. The food was horrible. I love Disney, but this restaurant left a very bad taste in my mouth. I'm sure I'm not the only person who felt this way. I hope the new chef brings a whole new menu because they need it!

We were there at the end of August. DH and I both had the Mahi Mahi in some type of ginger sauce. It was awesome! They were very accomadating about substituting side dishes and we were able to opt for Ratatouille (very spicey and delicious!) instead of collard greens. My DS and DD had chicken fingers and pizza... I think? Typical kids fare but they enjoyed it. They absolutely loved the card the waitstaff gave them in which they were able to check off fish as they spotted them in the aquarium. They spent the whole dinner racing to see who could find the most fish, while DH and I enjoyed a nice uninterrupted conversation! It was our first visit to Coral Reef, but definitely not our last!

Yes! We were there in July, and it has greatly improved!! In years past, we'd eaten there 2 or 3 times, and I swore I would never go back, it was that bad. But once I heard about the change of chefs, I figured I would try it for lunch .. and was very glad I did!

When did this change occur? We were there in early June & did not enjoy the food. If they are improving the menu, then I would try it again on our trip next year.
