Anyone been to Mickey's Philharmagic and thought it was...

scary at all? I have a DD3 and is scared of villians! I would love to hear opinions from some of you with younger children and their reactions to this. It sounds great and I can't wait to see it but want to be aware of anything that might scare my daughter. She loved the Voyage of the Little Mermaid except for Ursula.

I have read info about Mickey's Philharmagic and see nothing mentioned that would lead me to believe that it would not be fine for her. I just wanted to hear from some of you that have experienced it first hand. Thanks in advance for your responses.

The characters in it are not scary but there are some loud noises. My dd (5) did wear her glasses and was scared at some of the sounds. Theres also a short part where the theatre is completely dark.

thanks, I never thought about the loud noises. I think if I prepared her for this with assurances of not seeing villians, she might enjoy it. If we are unsure, my husband or I preview the ride or attraction.

My DS (2) and DD (4) ended up taking their glasses off. While they loved all the music, they hated having things coming flying at their faces. Luckily you can still see the movie good without the glasses. Nothing ever scared them, but they have no desire to do this one again.

We just saw this Friday night. Our 3 year old DD loved this, the first time she has ever put on glasses for a 3-D movie and the first one she has ever liked. IMO it is the least scary of all the 3-D movie attractions out there right now. She kept trying to touch the things that would "fly in your face" like the jewels. All four kids laughed hard at the cute ending. We were pleased with this movie and plan on going alot on our next vacation.
