Anyone been to Fountains resort recently?

We are thinking of booking The Fountains resort but have had some mixed reviews.
Has anyone been recently. Is there alot of building work going on?

We were at the Fountains for 3 nights over the New Years Holiday. We were put into a new 2 bedroom villa, thsi building had just opened in December. We have stayed there before and this villa was exactly what we expected. They were doing some construction on the new waterpark, and around the new lake, but our stay was great. We'd like to go back again. Our unit was clean ( new) and was really good. Check in was nice. The only problem we had was actually getting to the resort, they have thier regulary drive way torn up and it was a mess. You had to dirve over some really rough asphalt. Hopefully it is done by now. OH,it looked like they took out the Tennis courts, but the new pool looks fabulous!

We booked for mid March and wondering if waterpark/new pool will be open.

Current construction: Construction of a new water amenity behind Building 2 with completion in early 2008. Construction of Building 11 is expected to continue until late 2008. Daily construction work may begin as early as 7 a.m.

New pool area open March 15, perfect timing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody know which building would be best to ask for. We're not renting a car so would like to be kind of near the front entrance. We'll be walking with stroller and 5 yo in tow to trolley/buses. Also would like a new unit for daughters asthma, and near the pool?

All sounds too much to ask for!!!
