We are going 1/21 - 1/28 and I got the Disney visa card expressly to be able to have DS get to meet some characters up and close. I have also booked Donald's Breakfastosaurus, CRT, Crystal Palace. I understand that it is at Epcot behind Innoventions??? Is that true? Also, who is there, what is the best time to go and was it crowded and is it free if you have the Disney visa?

Also, he HAS to see Captain Hook---is he still hanging around Pirates of the C? and where can we find Peter Pan? pirate: Thanks

We did the meet and greet on 1/5/06. I guess it was around 4:00. No one in line. Pluto nad Mickey were there. I don't know if they change characters are not. It is in Innoventions. Sorry, I don't remmber which one. When you go pick up the picture they try to sell you other things. We saw Captain Hook across from one of the Innoventions. It was called something like Caracter Greet??? We just so happen to run in to him by himself. He was not standing with the other characters.

It's at Innovations WEST near the fire truck. It's daily from 1:00p to 4:00p. I've always encountered a small line.

The characters change every 20 minutes so you will not know who you are going to get. I've done it 3 times now and they were Minnie and Goofy once, Mickey and Goofy once and then Mickey and Goofy the last time.

It is free if you show them your Disney Visa.

Be sure to go to the photo gallery on your way out of the park to get your one free 5x7 photo. They did not pressure me to buy anything else all three times. They were very helpful in what kind of border to put on it and which one I should pick (which came out best) and they were very patient.

We have always had Mickey and Pluto when we have gone. Yes you will need your Disney Visa.

We did it on Sunday, 12/18 at @3:30. No line, walked right in. Minnie and Donald were there. Hugs from Minnie for my 6 year old and she also danced with Donald!! Picture is great! Definately, recommend doing it!!

We went on our 8th (out of 9) day (Thursday, Jan 12) around 3:30. It's inside Innovations West. We had one person in line in front of us. You show them your Visa card and they give you a certificate. Inside was Goofy and Minnie. They were great with the kids. They danced with them, hugged them, etc. Kids already had they're autographs, so didn't do that part.

We were so picture/video-ed out that we didn't tape it. It's a shame, 'cause would have been worth it. Got some good pictures, though.

We stopped by the Camera center under the big ball on our way out of Epcot. We showed our certificate, said the kids were really tired (which they were) and just had time to chose our photo from that session. (We had 85 photo pictures at that point and didn't want to go through them all). The person helping us was great, helped us with signatures and borders, and gave us a print almost immediately.

It's definately worth taking advantage of this opportunity!

Hi! Definitely get your free photo! We were there from 12/4 and had Minnie, Donald AND Goofy. They took about 5 different pictures and made sure they all hugged both me and my BF. We had about a half hour wait.. the line looked short but they take their time will everyone so it ended up being longer than expected. My Dad and I will be there in 2 weeks so I am going to make sure we get there exactly at 1:00pm to try to be one of the first in line.

Have fun!! :)

How often can you do this?? Once a year?? Once a week?? Does anyone know??

Do they use PhotoPass??? I understand that you probably have to get the free photo there, but do they put it on your Photopass so you can buy later?

Also, are they strict about the limit on number of people? We will have 9 in our group and I can take all the kids if they limit it to 6 entering, but would like to at least be able to take the other mom in with me (total of 7).

We will probably buy more photos that way!!!

Yep! they put the photo on photo pass and will take them with your cameras as well. You can then go pick up your free 5x7 right by Spaceship Earth. You can crop it and add extra graphics to it as well, just like any other photopass photo. They ask to see your Disney Visa and that's it.

As for how often you can do it, I believe it is once a day.

If my DB and I each have a Visa, can we bring our families in together? He has 3 and I have 4, then there are also our parents. So it is 9 total w/ 2 different Visa cards. would we get 2 photos?

We were there on 1-8, no line at 2:30. Minnie and Donald were there. But I didn't get my free 5 x 7, when I went to pick it up there was a line. I waited about 20 minutes and the line hadn't moved at all. To me it wasn't worth the wait.
