Anyone been to BW latley? Question about Screen Door.

I was at BW and went food shopping at the Screen Door,
We were there in April and the freezer section pretty much was full of Weight Watcher food. Nothing for kids. We were not able to get frozen waffles, hot dogs or frozen mac and cheese.
I asked about the waffles and they said they don't carry them anymore, WHAT Why not? They didn't know.
I hope things changed and they got waffles in, something. I do all my shopping in there and when you have a studio the waffles are the best thing there to make for the kids. It seem all the food was geared for adults and they weren't thinking of the kids. I walked over to Beach Club and the same things were over there too.

So has anyone shopped in the Screen Door lately? How was the food choices? Are the Hot Dogs and waffles back? Any food for the kids?

Disney saves money buy buying in bulk. The items in the stores are the same everywhere. When you notice a change at one location, you can pretty much bet that when old stock is depleted, they will carry the same merchandise.

It's not just the food items, it's all items. That's why you can't find unique park or resort items anymore. A raincoat at WDW is the same raincoat at DL.

I don't know if this had anything to do with it or not but late last year Kellogg announced there would be a shortage of Eggo waffles due to problems at two plants. They said this would last into mid 2010 so maybe there is hope for waffles at the Screen Door soon!
