anyone been to BB Kings?

We went there for lunch. They have inside and outside tables so we chose to eat outside. The place wasn't crowded at all and the food was ok but nothing memorable. I don't see why they wouldn't allow kids there even when there is entertainment but you can call to make sure. 407-370-4550

If you do decide to go, be sure to check Restaurant.com. Last time I looked, they had $50 certificates for BB King's. Find a propmo code before you buy!

That $50 certificate requires a $100 purchase. My wife and I couldn't have spent that much there unless we boxed up a bunch of stuff and took it back with us.

Don't they have the $25 certificates available,I've eaten there twice, both times with the $25 certificates, with the promo codes you can get the $25 certificates for $2 or $3.

I suggested the $50 one because they are a family. I looked at their menu awhile back, and a family could spend $100 easily there. The $25 one requires a $50 purcahse if memory serves.

Looking at their menu, it would be very easy to spend $50, so the $25 certificate would be a great option.

I was thinking of going here for dinner one night - teenage son is saxophone/music obsessed. Anyone know how the performances work - separate cover charge or just if you are there all is good?

My friend went to House of Blues and thought the food wasn't great and it was very dark - so I'm leaning towards BB Kings - but any assistance with knowing whether this would work for us (with one teen and two little girls) is appreciated!

Some nights (but not all) there is a cover charge even for those that are dining in the restaurant. Special performances require a ticket for the concert.
I would call in advance and ask about the shows because very few blues bands actually have a saxophone player. The phone number is in post #2

We have been to both BB Kings and HOB, to be honest, BB Kings was much darker than HOBs. We enjoyed both, but I do think the food at BB Kings was a little better. We went early and there was music which was nice for us,but too loud for my mom.

You might want to call, but I think I remember reading you can use the certificate for the gift shop too.

Yes! mostly tourists who like the blues too. And you must go visit the Gibson guitar factory it is so neat and it has a bar there too.Tater Reds is a funky gift shop on Beale street, the Peabody hotel is nice and has ducks that come on a red carpet and swim in a fountain.

You're talking about BB Kings in Memphis, not Orlando,of the things you mentioned you can however also see the duck march at the Peabody hotel in Orlando which is pretty much next door to the BB Kings in Orlando located at Pointe Orlando.
