We'll be going on our 1st 7 Day cruise in July & were wondering how cruising in the summer is. We've been on 2 February cruises & we loved it, the weather was awesome. We're used to going to Florida in the summer so the heat doesn't bother us. Thanks for any info!! Cathie &The Gang:sunny:

We've taken the 7 day eastern in July, and the weather was fabulous. Warm, but certainly not too hot. CC was the warmest, even after morning rain before we got off the ship. We're going on the western leaving 7-31-04, is this your voyage as well?

We went at the end of June last year and no complaints here. It was a little warm one day but not unbearable. Enjoy your cruise. - Mike

We will be on the Magic in July. I know it will be hot but that's what the tropics are made for!!!!!

Thanks for the info..we are sooooo excited for this cruise! Disney Bill, we'll be on the Western Cruise before you guys, the July17th. Have fun! Anyone else going on the July 17th Western? Cathie & The Gang :boat: :grouphug: :jumping1:

We'll be sailing on the Western 7 day July 17th too! So far, I've only heard of you, us and keenercam (fellow Disser!) that are sailing on that date. Is it too much to hope for that we'll be the only ones and will have the run of the ship?!;)

Our party consists of:
me - 42
DH - 46
3 DSs - 23, 19, and 16
and my DF - 42

We're so excited! We opted for 2 conncecting interior rooms. We sailed on a Carnival Cruise last year and discovered that we were seldom in the room. We wanted to be up on deck where all the action was!

We're staying in Orlando for 4 days after the cruise. Hope to meet you onboard!

I would have bet there was a very active thread on the cruise meets board, but I sure can't find one.

We have done both the Eastern and Western in July. Plan on doing this again in 2005. Definitely hot, but manageable. This is the only time we can cruise. You are never too far from the a/c or the water. I would not recommend long, walking tours - unless you are prepared and won't be disappointed. Have fun.

Have a blast! I've sailed the last two Augusts and it was wonderful!

the weather in july is excellent this will be our 3rd july cruise we had excellent weather on the last 2 cruises hopeing for the same on the july 3 2004 cruise enjoy your cruise

I'm going Western August 14th, and I was wndering about the weather also - must be hot and humid. Also, it's Hurr***ne season (don't want to say it out loud). Hopefully there won't be anything churning up the water.

Thanks skyhawk now I know exactly how much time is left, although we leave on the 9th so a few days less. This will be our 5th cruise in August and we have skirted a hurr***, went around a tropical storm but have never missed CC. On the Western the hottest day we had was in Key West this time we will try do do something that includes water in the afternoon. All the water temps were nice and warm at all the ports on both the Eastern and Western, we love August which I believe is the same as late July.
