Anyone been able to book AKL with new public code?

I am wondering if I should bother paying LD charges to try. I haven't had any luck getting a room there with an AP discount (2nd week of September) and the public code is a few bucks more ...

Availability seems so tight because of the bounceback and the general free dining ... I wonder why they are even offering this discount.

I would check I was looking on the Expedia link that was first posted about this code and they had $149 availabel for Sep9 -12.

I was told by a CM yesterday that there was no availability for the general public discount at AKL for my dates, Aug. 11 - 16.

I have had no luck for AKL standard for my Mom from 8/26-9/2. I have free dining now for my ressie but she has a room by herself so it would be cheaper for her to get the room discount and pay for the dining plan. The only thing I could have had yesterday was savannah view/bunk bed room but it would have cost her $300 more and she wants to pay less. I just checked online and now nothing is available at AKL for our dates. Oh well.

I can't find the place to put the code into the screen online? Can you tell me where I would find it?

There's a box at the bottom of the screen with Daisy Duck's picture. You click on that to begin your reservation. You can either do a room only or a package from there.

I was able to add Aug. 15 to the front end of our stay with the discount this morning. Couldn't get it for the days we already had booked, though.

I was able to use the code DDI. They had Savannah view available and Club Level. I upgraded to Club Level, since it was only $14 more / night than the price of my existing AAA Savannah view reservation.

I booked this the VERY first day this was announced.. got AKL pool view bunk bed, $201 including tax
