Anyone at PPH now?

Is anyone at PPH now that could check on the waterslide status? I've read that it's down but I haven't seen anything that tells #1 when it will be back in action and/or #2 whether we can go to DLH to if the waterslide is still down when we are there. (We'll be there October 12-17.) My kids will be fine with whatever as long as I can prepare them for the situation. It's all about managing expectations!

We are here now. The water slide is not open but at check in they said we could use the DH pool/slides. I asked if we could use the Grand CA pool and they said no...it was worth a shot!!

Do you have to bring pool towels with you?
I assume they programmed the room key to open DLH's gates right? Or you have to ask CMS to let you in?
