Anyone at EPCOT today?

I wonder how crowded it is, being its CELEBRATION day.

We are hear .... It's definitely more crowded than ir was last Thursday but its not unbearable in future land atleast...there are still FP for soarin. There are some really long lines of people outside mouse gear right now - but I haven't checked to see what they are waiting for yet.... Spaceship earth definitely had a 15 min wait compared to the walk on status it had last week...

We got maps with te history of Epcot over the years and buttons when we walked in..

I saw pics on Twitter of the line to get into MouseGears stretching all the way down the walkway to World Showcase! Holy cow! That's some SERIOUS need for anniversary merch!

It just rained And my kids need to fall asleep in their stroller or we will be heading home before the fun really begins....

Just wondering what the hot items are that everyone is waiting in that long line for? I was there on Friday when they rolled out 30th anniversary merchandise. There were no lines even though CMs had ropes off a line area. I didn't see anything much that struck my fancy except for a pin set I liked. I liked the EPCOT lanyard but didn't buy it.
So what's everyone buying today?

I have a friend there. She said that there are no lines for any of the attractions because everyone is lined up to buy merchandise!

I really wish I was there... I want that park map! Maybe I can make it for the 40th...

We're here today. As far as I can tell the line at mouse gears is just for the LE pins. We didn't have any problems getting t shirts or iPhone cases.

Where did you get your shirt? We were told we had to wait in the line for the shirts. We got in line right when they opened at 8:30 and stood there for an hour and a half. The only time it moved is when they repositioned the line around the building. We finally gave up because our Soarin FP window was about to be over (I had jumped out of the line to get the FP for our fam once we saw we were going to be there awhile.

We got ours at mousegears. The kids got the orange Figment shirt and I got the maroon woman's 30th tee. I don't know if there were other shirts that were harder to get. They had lots of t shirts at the outpost when we went past.

My DH is inline now for mouse gears while we ride sum of all thrills....it's about a 25 min line to the register...

Outpost has LOTS of stuff - including 30th mystery pin sets - but they do NOT have the official 30th pin - that is only at mouse gears.. I asked outpost CMs and they were surprise they didn't get the pins - they were expecting them....

Ride lines have been fine.... We pretty much just walked onto sum of all thrills for a second time...

My brother just texted me from Epcot. He's at the 30th Anniversary celebration now. Keynote speaker is Imagineer Marty Sklar - one of the HM creators. Says the talk is fascinating. He's really enjoying the event.

I did the Marty Sklar presentation. Ride lines are short but the world showcase is CRAZY. Definitely no 1.9 day! Waiting now for the special 30th Illuminations!

Since 1.9 applies to rides only, I don't think it's that far off....ride lines were pretty much non-existent at 6pm....

We are near France watching fireworks - didn't think it was crazy at all - in fact much less crowded than normal first weekend of food and wine crowds...

We were there today as well. Arrived around 11- the line to mouse gears was CRAZY!! But as pp have commented- walked on to most of the rides.
