Anyone arrive on Thanksgiving night and get a good building locationat POR?

I know last year was probably not a problem because of 9/11.
Anyone arrive on Thanksgiving night and still been given a good location at POR any other year? Hoping son and family can get close to main building and bus stop. Thanks for any info.
