I was just wondering how many points it was to get a room at the Swan or Dolphin. We've been considering joining the program and wondered how it translated to a room.

Thanks!

Last time I booked using points at the Dolphin, it was 10,000 points a night.
Should be the same for the Swan as both are category 4 hotels in the SPG program.

Coach4448 beat me to it - I just looked and both are "category 4" hotels and still 10,000 points/night.

One nice feature is that if you use points for four nights, the fifth night is "free". This is due to Swan and Dolphin being "Category 4" SPG hotels.

Thus, it is 4 * 10,000 = 40,000 points for five nights.

SPG members can also use Starpoints (1,000-1,200/night) to upgrade to Club Level privileges=breakfast and afternoon horduerves/snacks/beverages. We have done this the last three years and it saves big time on food expenses!

you can also use 1000 pts. to get half off your room rate for up to 5 consecutive nights. Not a bad deal if no other discounts are available! :flower:
